OUR PILLARS: ACADEMICS, FAITH, AND COMMUNITY

Unique Learning Environment

A Catholic education at St. Bartholomew School is a one-of-a-kind learning experience because we focus on more than just academics. We believe that nurturing the whole child – mind, body, and spirit – is necessary for a happy, healthy, and balanced life. We create an environment that provides your child with the opportunity to expand their knowledge, discover their passions, create community, and strengthen their sense of self as they come to know God.

We safely integrate technology to assist students in academic areas and allow them to learn research skills. Our curriculum assists teachers in providing students an individualized instruction based on their current level and challenge them to achieve and succeed.

Our students gain confidence in public speaking by leading at weekly Mass and through our fine arts performance opportunities.

Our academic rigor helps our graduates consistently enroll in academically challenging coursework in middle school and beyond.

St. Bart's offers a variety of instructional strategies and learning experiences to meet students and help them achieve to the best of their ability.

Experiential Learning

We believe it’s important to provide learning experiences outside of the classroom. By venturing out into the community around us, our students learn about faith, science, civic organizations, the arts, nature, and more!

Our teachers plan field trips to a variety of places like the Minnesota Zoo, the Cathedral of St. Paul- Minneapolis, the Arboretum, Eagle Bluff, The Children's Theater, the Guthrie, and other in-house presentations.

Counseling Services

St. Bartholomew provides onsite counseling services for students through Phoenix Counseling Services. The counselor works with individuals or small groups on social skills, friendship skills, or other concerns to help our students balance social and emotional learning.

Resource Teacher

St. Bartholomew is blessed to have a full-time resource teacher who works with students who may be struggling with reading or math or who need to be challeneged at a higher level. Our teacher works one on one or in small groups to provide support and help with understanding of various grade level concepts. These interventions assist with filling in learning gaps and provides students with confidence in previously challenging areas of learning.
