"When we first considered moving our son from public school to a private Catholic school, I'll admit I had some reservations. I was raised Lutheran, and although my husband is Catholic, the traditions and structure of a Catholic school were new territory for me. We ultimately decided to make the change because we felt our son was getting lost in the shuffle within the public school system.
From the moment we joined St. Bart's, that uncertainty disappeared. The transition has been an incredible blessing. The teachers and administration took the time to truly get to know our son-his learning style, his strengths, and where he needed more support. They specifically assessed his academic level and created a plan that meets him where he is. As a second grader, he has already advanced beyond that grade level in both math and reading; he's currently pulled out to work on third-grade math and participates in advanced reading groups. This individualized attention simply wasn't possible in our public school experience.
Beyond the academics, the sense of community at St. Bart's has exceeded every expectation. The families, teachers, and staff have been exceptionally warm and welcoming. In just a short time, the school has become a true home base for our son-and for our entire family. We love the balance of structure, respect, and compassion that defines the school's culture. The communication between parents and staff is outstanding, and we always feel informed and supported.
Choosing St. Bart's has been one of the best decisions we have made for our son's education and overall well-being. He is thriving both academically and personally, and we are so grateful to be part of this wonderful community."
"St. Bartholomew is truly an amazing school.
What I’ve come to love most is how it has become like a second family. We cherish knowing the families our children play with, having an extra layer of support when we need it, and forming friendships with people who share similar values. I also love that my kids come home excited to share the new prayers they’ve learned.
We never planned on sending our kids to private school, but during COVID we unexpectedly found our way here—and we couldn’t be happier. After such a wonderful preschool experience, we never looked back. Both of our children started kindergarten excited and ready to learn. When we discovered that our daughter needed extra support in reading and math, the school quickly identified her needs and provided excellent resources to help her thrive."
