I am a Widow, mom, and grandmother of two current Bulldogs. Both of my daughters are St Bartholomew School alumni, going back to the days of Bernie Peterson as a teacher for both and later principal. I attended Catholic grade school in south Minneapolis until 8th grade, HS at Roosevelt, BA from the University of Minnesota and MA from St Mary`s University of Minnesota. I worked for almost 40 years as a social worker at Hennepin county, and also volunteered at Ascension Catholic Academy on the North side of Minneapolis for a number of years as a tutor and support to the teachers there. Hobbies include reading novels late into the night and planning travels to Europe. We maintain active contact with our family in Norway and have visited over the years. I recently sold my house in Maple Plain and bought a lake cabin in Northern MN and am looking forward to spending time there. My grandchildren will now be able to have the Minnesota lake cabin experience. It is really the Norwegian way. Everyone in Norway has a "hytte"and now I do too! My favorite part of spending time at Clubhouse is observing the HIGH energy level of the kids. |
